Donating essential items helps students save on everyday expenses, enabling them to allocate more funds towards food, housing, and other necessities. All California community college campuses host on-campus Basic Needs Centers, where students can access these items for free.
You can help by donating:
- Basic needs items at any Tri Counties Bank branch
- Through the Amazon Wishlist
- Directly to the Student Ambassador Program
In partnership with the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Tri Counties Bank is hosting a Community Cares Basic Needs Drive to help support community college students throughout California. A 2023 study showed that two out of every three California community college students grapple with at least one basic needs insecurity.

- Baby wipes
- Diapers for children (all ages)
- Tampons and sanitary pads
- Unscented or neutral scented bar soap
- Unscented or neutral scented shampoo/conditioner
- Unscented or neutral scented deodorant
- Disposable razors
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash
